Why cant I just put my Luggage in a standard bag and seal it up?
They need so little oxygen you would need to wait months or even years for the bugs to die. Even if you filled the bag with water it would take weeks to kill many species. Ever wonder why ants don't die in rain storms?
Why should I remove excess air through the vacuum port?
This will speed the extermination process. Less air in the bag simply makes the job faster. The bug packs will go room temperature only when all the air in the bag has been processed. Only at that point will the bugs start to slip into a dormant state. Soon after that their life functions will stop and they will die.
What can I do to help speed the exterminating process?
Bugs in a warm enviornment need more air to stay alive, so keep the bag in a warm place during the exermination process. Also remember, once the bag is closed the bugs cant get out. You can safely bring and keep your belongings anywhere as Bag The Bugs™ does its job. Just use caution not to rip the bags open.
Can the bag be closed for extended periods?
You can keep the bag closed as long as you wish. The minimum time we recommend is 24hrs after the bug packs go to room temperature. Most bugs will die in several hours, but its just as easy to let it sit a little longer and kill every organism that depends on oxygen to survive.
Will it just kill insects and their eggs?
No, most molds, mildews, fungi, bacteria's are also aerobic so they depend on oxygen to survive for extended periods of time. Given sufficient time in the bag, they will all die. Even plant seeds need oxygen. If they are put in this bag, they will never grow into plants.

Can I use the Bag more than once?
It is not recommended by the manufacturer to reuse the bag for repeated exterminations. however, it was designed to work with a full load. If you use a vacuum on it and it is not full, reuse may be possible. After the first extermination is complete and you have emptied the bag, the bug packs will start to warm up again. If so, re-fill the bag immediately. Close and remove air as you did the first time. When the second extermination is done, open the bag. If the bug packs get warm again the second extermination was a success.
Will the bag work if it is not closed all the way?
No, the bag must be closed so it is airtight. Even a pin hole will affect its performance.
Can I take things out of the bag during its extermination process?
We strongly recommend closing the bag within 15-20 minutes of activation. You should not re-open the bag again until the extermination process is complete.
It has been hours and the bug packs aren't cooling down at all!
Make sure the dual lock Zipper is fully closed and you didn't rip a hole in the bag. If you find a hole in the bag it must be taped closed so the bag is once again air tight. A large bag with a lot of empty space will take hours to cool down completely.
How hot will the bug packs get?
They will get very warm at first then start to cool down gradually. There is no risk of fire whatsoever. The reaction in the bug packs releases heat as it consumes the oxygen in the bag. No other gasses are made or released during the process.
Why must bug packs not be on the bottom?
The bag is designed with a special pouch area inside to hold the bug packs. The air in the room will more effectively cool the warm bag packs if they are not smothered on the bottom. Keeping the bug pack up will always give the best performance possible, although they will still work on the bottom.
Can i put anything in the bag?
This bag kills by removing more than 99.9% of the oxygen from the bag. You can put anything in this bag, as long as it fits in the bag and you can still close the top so the bag is airtight.
