Triage Ribbon is utilized in the emergency field or at mass casualty events by tying the appropriate color identification ribbon to the injured victim to inform the agencies on site which emergency station the said victim should be taken to. The ribbon colors are coordinated according to the S.T.A.R.T System specifications to assist in alleviating confusion and enhancing communication between agencies.
